IPTV Options for LG Smart TV
LG Smart TVs run WebOS, a proprietary operating system that limits app installations to those available in the LG Content Store. This means most IPTV apps are not directly available. However, there are two reliable ways to watch IPTV on LG TVs.

Method 1: SS IPTV on WebOS
SS IPTV is available in the LG Content Store and supports M3U playlists for live channel streaming.
- Press the Home button on your LG Magic Remote
- Navigate to and open the LG Content Store
- Use the search function to find SS IPTV
- Install the app and open it
- Go to Settings → Source → Playlist
- Select External Media (Internet) as the source type
- Enter your M3U URL from your VIP IPTV Club welcome email
- Save and select Load to fetch your channels
Your channels will appear organised by category. SS IPTV also supports EPG — add your EPG URL in Settings → Source → EPG Source.

Loading Your M3U Playlist on LG TV
Your VIP IPTV Club M3U URL is the key to loading all your channels. This URL is emailed to you immediately after activation. It contains your entire channel library including HD and 4K streams, sports, news, movies, and international channels from 80+ countries.
Copy the URL exactly as provided — do not retype it manually. If you cannot find your welcome email, contact VIP IPTV Club support to have it resent.
Setting Up EPG on LG TV
In SS IPTV, go to Settings → Source and find the EPG section. Paste your EPG URL from your welcome email. Save the settings and force a refresh. Programme guide data will populate across your channels within 60 seconds.
Note that not all channels include EPG data — sports and news channels generally have full EPG coverage, while some niche or international channels may show as "No information available."
Troubleshooting LG TV IPTV Issues
SS IPTV not in LG Content Store: App Store availability varies by LG model and region. Older WebOS versions may not have SS IPTV. In this case, use Method 2 with an external device.
Channels buffering on LG TV: Ensure your LG TV is connected to the internet via ethernet rather than Wi-Fi. Go to Settings → Network → Wired Connection and plug in an ethernet cable directly to your router.
No audio on some channels: Some IPTV streams use Dolby/AC3 audio which older LG TVs cannot decode directly. Switch the audio output in SS IPTV settings to PCM stereo.

SS IPTV is the best native option available in the LG Content Store. For a superior experience, connecting an Amazon Firestick or Android TV box to your LG TV's HDMI port gives access to TiviMate and other premium IPTV apps.
TiviMate is not available for LG WebOS. It only runs on Android TV and Firestick. Connect an external Android TV device to your HDMI port to use TiviMate on your LG TV.
LG TVs support 4K display output, but whether 4K IPTV streams play correctly depends on the app. Native WebOS apps like SS IPTV have limited 4K codec support. For full 4K IPTV, use a Firestick 4K or Android TV box connected via HDMI.
Go to Settings → Network → Wi-Fi Connection (or Wired Connection) → Advanced Settings. Your IP address is listed there. You may need this when setting up some IPTV configurations.
This usually happens when the M3U URL expires or changes. VIP IPTV Club M3U URLs do not expire as long as your subscription is active. If you are prompted to reload frequently, check that your subscription has not lapsed.
